India in the XXI century: Transformation and trends

General Objective
This activity proposes to serve as an axis to articulate the academic efforts of the specialists in the area, through a series of thematic presentations that will serve as a vehicle to disseminate the knowledge produced in Mexico about this Asian nation. The aim is to create a space for the dissemination, discussion and reflection on the issues that define the Republic of India at the political, economic, socio-cultural and strategic levels; seeking, thereby, a better understanding of the characteristics, progress, and problems that envelop this country, as well as allowing the strategic analysis of the South Asia region and the continent in general. For accomplishing this, this activity promotes the participation of national specialists from various academic institutions, as well as a plural and critical dialogue between students, academics, and the general public, interested in the analysis of contemporary India and its relevance in the international world today. All of this aims to influence the personal and professional development of the attendees through the conjunction of theoretical and practical knowledge.

- Before requesting your registration process, please ask us any additional information and doubts you might have to the mail: educon.pueaa@unam.mx
- After this, please confirm your interest in enrolling as a student with a mail to the same address.
- Once your registration is confirmed, in a lapse no longer than 3 business days, we will send an email with the referenced deposit document to make your payment and a brief registration form.
- Print the payment form and go to any BBVA bank branch to deposit before the deadline.
- Once you have made the payment, please mail us the original proof of payment with your name and signature on the back, and a copy of your official ID.
- In case of requiring a invoice, please notify us at the same moment of presenting your proof of payment, along with the fiscal data, to carry it out. OTHERWISE, THE INVOICE WILL NOT BE MADE ON LATER DATES.

Evaluación
El ensayo deberá ser una reflexión argumentada sobre uno o más de los temas tratados en el curso, con objeto de ayudar al alumno en la construcción de su propio análisis. En caso de que se escoja algún tema de los módulos Economía o Sociedad y arte se deberán usar las habilidades aprendidas en los talleres correspondientes.
El ensayo deberá ser entregado con las siguientes características:
- Letra Arial o Times New Roman, tamaño 12, a interlineado 1.5
- La extensión es de entre 2000 y 3000 palabras
La estructura es: introducción (planteamiento de problema, propósito y preguntas de investigación), desarrollo (argumentación académica), conclusiones y fuentes consultadas (académicas, especializadas, journals, entidades gubernamentales, materiales sometidos a un proceso editorial de dictamen o revisión de pares; evitar wikis o blogs y materiales que no cuentes con las características anteriores)
