Africa is, without a doubt, the continent of the 21st century. That is why it is urgent to open a space where several academics can share their research work with students interested in the continent. The Diploma in African Studies seeks to enable participants to venture into African studies, broaden their knowledge and become decision-makers on issues related to the African region.
Admission profile
Professionals and specialists from different disciplines belonging to the public or private sector, academics, undergraduate and graduate students and the general public related to the subject.
Some aptitudes such as verbal skills, critical thinking and analytical skills will be very useful in the course. Through these characteristics we seek to establish a profile that will allow students to develop research and job opportunities that respond to their professional interests.
Why this diploma course ?
The PUEAA-UNAM Diploma in African Studies is a continuing education program, which, unlike others, focuses on key issues of contemporary Africa to broaden the understanding and perception of the region.

Instructors
The instructors and module coordinators are mainly UNAM professors and researchers with extensive experience in African studies. Many have lived and studied in African universities. The information they have and will transmit throughout the course is first-hand.
