The course serves as an articulating axis for the academic efforts of specialists, not only from Mexico but also from Spanish-speaking countries, to analyze and study the dynamics of conflict in Africa. In this sense, conflict is not understood as a negative element or opposed to peace, but as a fundamental process for social transformations. For this reason, a series of lectures on different topics related to conflict and development, as well as a methodological introduction to studies in this area, will be offered. This course seeks to establish a space for discussion between specialists and students to open new axes of analysis on the region. Likewise, although we seek to promote the participation of national lecturers, we also intend to invite international experts in order to strengthen PUEAA's internationalization networks.
