Full-Time Senior Researcher at the Institute of Social Research, UNAM. Ph.D. in Social Sciences with a specialization in Economics and Management of Innovation. Coordinator of the Seminar on Interdisciplinary Studies on Science, Technology, and Innovation at the IIS-UNAM. Her research focuses on the socioeconomic aspects of emerging technologies. She serves as a tutor and professor in various UNAM Graduate Programs, including Administration, Economics, Political and Social Sciences, Sustainability, and Urbanism. Throughout her career as a researcher, she has collaborated on projects related to economics, technology, and innovation for international organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank and the International Development Research Centre, as well as for national institutions such as the Ministry of Economy (Mexico). She is a member of the Cyted-Laboratorio de Políticas CTI, of the Ibero-American Program for Science and Technology for Development; the Latin American Association for Social Studies of Science and Technology (ESOCITE); and the Latin American Network for the Study of Learning, Innovation, and Competence Building Systems (LALICS). She is a Level 2 member of the National System of Researchers (SNI). In 2022, she received the Distinguished National University Award for Young Academics in the area of economic-administrative research and is currently the Director of the Institute of Social Research at UNAM.
