Sun Xintang

He is a Chinese academic and writer, born in 1975 in Guantao, China. He holds a degree in Hispanic philology from Luoyang Foreign Languages University, a master's degree in translation from Beijing Foreign Studies University, and a doctorate in linguistics from Shanghai International Studies University. Former Deputy Director of the Regional Center of Confucius Institutes for Latin America, Director of the Confucius Institute at UNAM (Mexico), Director of the Spanish Department of the University of Language and Culture of Beijing, China. Professor at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) and honorary professor at the University of Congreso (Argentina); visiting professor at the Antonio de Nebrija University, King Juan Carlos University and at the University of Alcalá (Spain), at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (Portugal). He is the author of several books of Spanish teaching materials for Chinese students. He has translated from Chinese to Spanish about thirty authors, including Cai Tianxin: Antología poética (Beijing, 2013), Estrellas en movimiento (San José, Costa Rica, 2020), etc. Coordinator of the series "Jewels of Contemporary Chinese Literature" and the magazine Farolas, of 34 literary titles published. Editor of the books Poesía china contemporánea (Beijing, 2018; Simplemente Editores, Santiago de Chile, 2019), Un mínimo destello en el mar del atardecer (Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, Monterrey, 2018), Pájaros en el bosque (Sur Editores, La Habana, 2017), La mariposa de Hanyang y otros cuentos chinos (Editorial Signo, Santiago de Chile, 2018), among others.
