He holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the UNAM, while at Shenyang Pedagogical University in China he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chinese language for foreigners. He received a scholarship from the government of the People's Republic of China in 2008 and from HANBAN in 2012. He currently heads the Department of Russian, Asian Languages and Modern Greek at the National School of Language, Linguistics and Translation (ENALLT), he also coordinates the implementation of the HSK certification exam and teaches Chinese language classes. In the University Program of Asian and African Studies, he works as a coordinator of the China sub-module of the Diploma in Asian Studies. He served as academic coordinator of the Japan, Korea and Vietnam Studies Workshops. Since 2015, he has been a member of the Academic Committee of the International Congress on Chinese Language Teaching. He has collaborated with the magazine China Hoy in the writing and translation of articles for its Mexican edition.
