José Luis Maya

Academic Technician Holder "A" of full time of the Institute of Economic Research (IIEc) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Master’s in Digital Journalism from the University of Guadalajara and Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Journalism from the UNAM. He has a specialization in Economic Dissemination and a diploma in Tourism for Sustainable Development. From 2000 to 2011 he served as press officer, and from 2011 to 2012 as Head of the Department of Academic Dissemination at the IIEc-UNAM. From 2012 to 2017 he collaborated as a specialist in the area of dissemination and communication of the magazine Problems of Development of IIEc. He currently serves as Technical Secretary of the University Program of Studies on Asia and Africa (PUEAA-UNAM). He has participated as a speaker in national and international conferences, whose topics are related to Alternative Tourism and with the edition and dissemination of scientific journals of the Area of Social Sciences and Humanities.
