Jenny Acosta

Pharmaceutical chemist and biologist, from the Faculty of Chemistry of the UNAM. In 1997 she began studying Chinese language at the CELE of UNAM, which she completed in 2001. In that year she took the Teacher Training course at CELE and has obtained several scholarships for teacher updating and improvement, all of them in Chinese language. Since 2011 he has been an Associate Professor B, T.C at Escuela Nacional de Lenguas, Lingüística y Traducción (ENALLT). From January 2009 to date she has served as Director of the Confucius Institute at UNAM, located in the Palace of Autonomy, in the Historic Center of Mexico City. She is a member of the Center for China-Mexico Studies of the School of Economics and in 2010 she was appointed President of the Mexican Association of Chinese Teachers (AMPCH). Member of the Board of Directors of the Regional Center of Confucius Institutes of Latin America (CRICAL) from 2014-2017.
