Graduated from the Academy of Mexican Dance (1986-1994) and from the National School of Theater Art (1995-1999). She began her training as a performer of Dance Odissi in 1995 under the tutelage of Djhael Vinaver. She was a fellow of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (1999-2000) and the FOCA Study Abroad Support Program (2000) to do the Odissi Dance Specialization at the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya School in New Delhi, India with Madhavi Mudgal. She has been a disciple in this discipline of renowned teachers and dancers such as Madhavi Mudgal, Djahel Vinaver, Piyali De, Somali Bose and Sangeeta Isvaran as well as Master Mano Ranjan Pradhan, specializing in Abhinaya or stories told through dance and acting. She has recently continued to update herself in the Odissi Dance courses of dancer Soumya Bose. She is currently a tenured teacher of Odissi dance at the Gurudev Tagore Cultural Center of India sponsored by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, she is a Hatha Yoga teacher for the Stable Cast of the National Theater Company and for the Center for Contemporary Dance Production CEPRODAC.
