Marisol Rocha

She holds a Master's degree in Asian and African Studies from El Colegio de México, specializing in Africa. B.A. in Dramatic Literature and Theater from UNAM with honors. She has worked in the areas of production and direction in Festivals such as the Festival del Centro Histórico, Festival Internacional de Dramaturgia Contemporánea DramaFest, Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro de Bogotá as well as the Festival Internacional Cervantino. She has been in charge of the artistic area in social projects with different NGO's in Mexico City and Chiapas. She has experience in radio and television voiceover and voice dubbing. She has worked on issues that involve the relationship between the arts and development through interdisciplinary projects in sub-Saharan Africa, where she did field work in 2012 with the project "Function of the Theater". 2012 with the project "The role of Theater for Development in HIV/AIDS programs in the slums of Nairobi". of Nairobi". She was a professor in the BA in Art History at Casa Lamm in Mexico City. Since July 2016 she was Coordinator of the State Network of Festivals of the State Institute of Culture of Tabasco; in that context she carried out 11 festivals with different themes, including the Ceiba Cultural Festival serving as general producer and artistic director. Head of the midday news program "Panorama sin Reservas", a project in force in the state of Tabasco for 23 years; at the same station she headed the international information department. She has worked as a full time academic in the Direction of Social Action and Formation of the Universidad Iberoamericana. Iberoamericana, she collaborated for the Secretariat of Extension and Digital Projects for UNAM Culture, she worked as General Coordinator of Audiovisual Media Production in the Coordination of Social Communication of the Government of Mexico City. She is currently Head of the Area of Radiophonic Models in the Public Broadcasting System of the Mexican State.
