Julen Berasaluce

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Universidad del País Vasco, a Master's degree in Quantitative Economics from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona and a PhD in Economics from the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona. He is currently a professor-researcher at the Center for Economic Studies of El Colegio de México (Colmex). He also participates in the Program of Economic Analysis of Mexico of this institution and directs the Academic Group "Games and Industrial Organization". He is also a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI). He is a specialist in political economy, industrial policy, the relationship between the foreign sector and growth, and development experiences in Asian countries.
