She is a full-time professor of law at ITAM, an internationally recognized scholar in the field of commercial law, with practical, teaching and research experience. She is Deputy Director of the Center for International Economic Law at ITAM. She holds a PhD in International Commercial Law from the University of Birmingham and an LLM in International Business Law from the London School of Economics. She is the author of recognized publications in the field of international trade law, international dispute resolution and capacity building in developing countries. Her most recent articles have been published in some of the journals and magazines such as Journal of World Trade and Trade, Law & Development. Her book and chapters have been published by some of the publishers such as Cambridge University Press and Edward Elgar. She has extensive legal experience in the field of international commercial arbitration and civil liability. She has worked in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Government of India on international trade law matters. From 2011 to 2015, she was part of the teaching team at the law department of the University of Birmingham, where she taught courses in Contract Law, Civil Law and Global Legal Skills
