PhD in Political and Social Sciences with a focus on International Relations (UNAM). Her research focuses on the following regions: Africa, America and Europe, as well as on foreign policy, global politics, education, culture and social sciences. She holds a diploma in Academic Journal Editing and Gender Studies. She currently teaches in the Postgraduate Program in Political and Social Sciences: Research and Methodology Seminars. She has supervised Bachelor, Master and PhD theses. From 2017 to date, she has been the General Academic Coordinator of the PUEAAO Diploma in African Studies and its Module V, as well as lecturer of the seminar that preceded this diploma. She´ is the editor of the journal Biblioteca Universitaria (DGBSDI, UNAM). She has held various academic and administrative positions at UNAM, in the public sector and at international level. In addition, she has represented Mexico in various international forums: the United Nations (UN), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Labour Organization (ILO) and in numerous bilateral and multilateral meetings in different countries around the world.
