Full professor at the Faculty of Accounting and Management at National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Her research interests include "Management, Sustainability, and Complexity" and "The Socio-Ecological System, Finance, and Planetary Boundaries," which come with a gender perspective. She has directed various research projects and has published several chapters, articles, and papers. She is also the author and co-author of several publications, as well as the coordinator of the books "Partes interesadas y promoción del desarrollo sostenible en las cadenas de valor en Latinoamérica/Stakeholders and the Promotion of Sustainable Development in Value Chains in Latin America" (2019) and " Cadenas de valor y sostenibilidad en Latinoamérica /Value Chains and Sustainability in Latin America" (2017). She is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNII), the Mexican Federation of University Women (FEMU), the International Association for Feminist Economics (IAFFE), the Association for Evolutionary Economics (AFEE), the International Society for Ecological Economics (ISEE), and the Latin American Studies Association (LASA).
