In 1986, he was admitted to the Tsuji Culinary Institute Osaka, Japan. Upon graduating, he pursued undergraduate studies in Visual Arts with a specialization in Sculpture at the Kanazawa College of Art, Japan. In 1995, following the completion of his academic studies, he relocated to Mexico. Since then, he has established residence in Xalapa City, Veracruz. In 2001, he was awarded a grant from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico (Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores). From 2002 to 2009, he served as a lecturer at the Faculty of Plastic Arts at the University of Veracruz (Universidad Veracruzana). In 2013, he obtained his Master's degree in Visual Arts with a specialization in Urban Art from the Graduate Program in Arts and Design at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Currently, he is a distinguished member of the National System of Art Creators (FONCA) for the period 2022-2025 and conducts research at the Plastic Arts Institute of the University of Veracruz (Universidad Veracruzana). His work is situated within the field of Contemporary Arts. The materials he employs are selected based on the themes and concepts he explores, utilizing a diverse range of techniques including sculpture, installation, photography, painting, and performance. This versatility enables him to facilitate artistic exchange between Mexico and Japan, through which he examines his own identity in relation to cultural transformation and social phenomena resulting from globalization.
