She holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and a PhD in Tax Law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, both degrees awarded with honors. She also holds a Master's degree and a specialty in Tax Law from the same university. She currently serves as Principal of the Law School and as a full-time professor with a "C" tenured degree. She holds a PRIDE level D endorsement, has 39 years of academic tenure, and is recognized as a National Researcher Level I in the National System of Researchers. She has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the Schools of Law, Accounting, and Administration, as well as at the Acatlán School of Higher Studies. She is the sole author of 11 works, has coordinated seven collective publications, and has co-authored 41 collective books. She has also published 52 articles in specialized journals.
