Doctoral candidate at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), with a focus on Southeast Asia and Oceania. Her doctoral work examined the internationalization processes of Thai multinational companies. As part of her goals, she conducted a research stay at Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand. She has served as a visiting professor at the Dr. José María Luis Mora Research Institute in the Master's Program in International Cooperation for Development in Mexico City, as well as a professor in the regional studies area at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at UNAM, where she teaches the subjects Asia and the Pacific and Southeast Asia and Oceania. In 2023, she made a judgment on an investigation titled "The sociopolitical evolution of the áo dài in Vietnam: The path to patrimonialization" for the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Spain and the Museo del Traje in Madrid, Spain.
