The main objective of the Diploma Course on African Studies is to create the opportunity to extend the knowledge about Africa to students, teachers, and the public interest in, among others, the connection that African has with the world.
Mexico has strong African roots, and this heritage has brought great wealth to the country. Today, in the global framework that we live in, we must give it the space it deserves. Besides inserting the studies on Africa is a central project at UNAM and a fundamental part for understanding the global events from all fields of knowledge. The UNAM is currently working on research and exchange activities with the main universities of that region.
