Mohamed Dafir El Kettani

Interim Director Academic Institute of African, Euro-Méditerranean and Ibero-American Studies. He graduated as an Engineer in Computer Security, from the Mohammedia School of Engineering, and obtained a PhD in 2001 from the same school, in collaboration with the Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg. He completed the Senior Management Cycle in 2001 from the Higher Institute of Commerce and Business Administration (ISCAE). In 2006, he obtained a Master degree in «Use of Information and Communication Technologies for Education and Training» (UTICEF), from the Louis Pasteur University again. He obtained many distinctions, such as the Prize for the "Competition for Innovation, Research-Development, and Technology 2001", awarded in May 2002, and in 1997 the title of Honorary Mayor of the City of "Baton Rouge", District of East Baton Rouge, State of Louisiana, USA, at the end of his official visit in the “Young African Leaders” program. Author of 4 invention patents, he has several professional certifications in the world of Governance (ITIL) and IT Security (ISO27001LI). In June 2019, he was appointed Interim Director of the Institute of Studies and Research for Arabization (IERA). Between June 2019 and September 2021, he was Interim Director of the Institute of African Studies (IEA), and the University Institute for Scientific Research (IURS). He was also between October 2019 and September 2021, Interim Director of the Institute of Hispano-Lusophone Studies (IEHL), as part of the merger project of these last 3 institutes.
