She completed her BA, MA and PhD in International Relations at Faculty of Politics and Social Sciences, National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She also was temporal Researcher at WTO Research Center of Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo, Japan (April 1, 2014-July 31, 2014 and December 1, 2010-March 17, 2011) and Treasurer of Latin-American Association of Asia and Africa Studies, Mexico Section. Among her latest publications are: "From Yokohama to Cuernavaca: reflections on the establishment of Nissan CIVAC" and "Japanese trade policy in the 21st century: a multilateral, regional or bilateral approach?". She is currently Full Time Professor at Faculty of Politics and Social Sciences, UNAM responsible for a research project called “Trans-Pacific economic relations and Mexico in the framework of the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic (2020-2022)” and member and Director of Finance of Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) Mexican chapter.
