Héctor Zavala

Master’s in Chinese Studies (International Relations) from Yenching Academy of Peking University; bachelor’s degree in Management from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Outside of Mexico, he has completed academic stays in Canada, France, Russia, Germany and China and has presented papers at various academic conferences mainly in Mexico, China and the United States. From 2016 to 2017 he was part of the staff at the UNAM’s office abroad in China (Center for Mexican Studies), collaborated on some projects with the Chamber of Commerce of Mexico in China and was invited on several occasions to publish papers on the website of the Chinese agency CCTV, English versión, now called CGTN. Subsequently, he collaborated with the University Program of Studies on Asia and Africa of the UNAM as in charge of Continuing Education and since 2018 he has been serving as Head of the Management Department of the UNAM’s office abroad in Boston (Center for Mexican Studies).
