Emilia Székely works at the Center of Complexity Sciences and is part of the Academic Working Group of the University Program of Studies for Asia and Africa of the UNAM. She is a political scientist graduated from the same institution. She holds a Master's degree in international development from Tsinghua University in China and a PhD in educational policy from the University of Education in Hong Kong. Her lines of research cover topics of sinology, China-Mexico relations, interculturality, educational policy, development and self-sustainability. It is mainly in these areas where she has developed professionally with functions of research, consulting and project management.
