Emilia Székely works at the Center for Complexity Sciences and is part of the Academic Working Group of the University Program for Asian and African Studies at UNAM. She is a political scientist who graduated from the same institution. She holds a master's degree in international development from Tsinghua University in China and a doctorate in education policy from the Hong Kong University of Education. Her research interests include sinology, China-Mexico relations, interculturalism, education policy, development and self-sustainability. It is mainly in these areas that she has developed professionally in research, consulting and project management roles.
