Dení Aguilar

She completed her postgraduate studies in International Relations in Asia Pacific at Xiamen University, China, specializing in environmental problems in the Asian region. She graduated with honors in Sociology from the School of Political and Social Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) with a specialty in the democratic transition of Southeast Asia. She has lived, worked and studied in the Asia-Pacific region for more than 8 years, including Australia, different cities in China and countries in Southeast Asia. She served as Academic Secretary of the Center for Mexican Studies of UNAM (CEM) in Beijing between 2012 and 2014 and as Technical Secretary of the University Seminar of Asian Studies of UNAM (SUEA) between 2014 and 2015. She has coordinated and organized numerous academic-cultural events related to cooperation between Mexico and China. Likewise, she has facilitated business visits and international trade projects between Asia, Latin America and Europe. She currently lives in Berlin, Germany, she works as an independent consultant, researcher and is part of the external advisory committee of PUEAA.
