She has a master’s degree in Corporate Law and a master's in Constitutional Procedural Law; additionally, she obtained a title in Political Training: Europe-Latin America Perspectives by the Complutense University of Madrid. She has been a full-time professor at the UNAM’s Law Faculty and in other Mexican educational institutions.

She was UNAM's representative to the University of San Diego, with the purpose of coordinating the OASIS Justice in Mexico program at the School of Law. She is a member of several Teachers' Associations, most notably her participation as Treasurer of the College of Professors of Constitutional Law; she is Secretary of Communication and Dissemination of the College of Professors of Philosophy of Law. She has written works on Constitutional Law and is a national lecturer.

Her lines of research deal with Fundamental Legal Concepts and Constitutional Control. She is also co-host of the program Logos y espíteme, palabra y conocimiento, which is broadcasted by radio ius Canal multimedia.

She has been an awardee of the extraordinary professorships Manuel Ovilla Mandujano 2016 and Aurora Arnaiz Amigo 2017, recognition given to professors for their academic performance, professional responsibility and valuable contribution to legal science. She currently serves as coordinator of Multidisciplinary and International Affairs at UNAM Law School.
