She has a PhD in International Relations from UNAM with honors; a master's degree in Asian and African Studies from El Colegio de México, and a master's degree in International Relations, specializing in peace and international security, from the inter-university program of the Pompeu Fabra University, the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the University of Barcelona. She is currently a Conacyt postdoctoral researcher attached to the FCPyS of the UNAM, with the project on China's soft power. In her teaching work she has been a professor in the Graduate Program of the FCPyS of the UNAM and the Iberoamerican University, both in the International Relations programs. In her scientific dissemination practice she collaborates in the radio program Primer Movimiento of Radio UNAM. Her main lines of research are: the Sino-Mexican relationship; culture as a factor of analysis of international relations in Asia; country-image, perceptions; foreign policy and China's soft power. She is a member of the Eurasia Studies Group; she is a member of AMEI and ALADAA. Her latest publication is entitled Interpreting Confucianism in China's political discourse in the work: Eurasia.
