Gladys Lechini

Degree in Political Science and International Relations at the National University of Rosario (UNR); Master's degree in Political Sciences from Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO) and PhD in Sociology from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. She also has a Postdoctorate at the UNR.

Her teaching, research and management activities have been carried out mainly at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations, National University of Rosario, where she is currently Professor of International Relations, Senior Researcher at CONICET, Director of the Doctorate in International Relations, of the Program of South-South Relations and Cooperation (PRECSUR) and the Rosario Institute for Arab and Islamic World Studies (IREMAI) She also serves as Co-Director of the Center for Studies in International Relations of Rosario (CERIR)

Visiting professor at the National University of Colombia; FLACSO-Ecuador; at Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, India; Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain; University of the State of Rio de Janeiro and University of Brasilia, Brazil; Università degli Studi di Padova, l’Orientale di Napoli, Italy; Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Bordeaux, France; FLACSO International Relations, Buenos Aires, National University of La Plata.

Director of the School of International Relations of the UNR (1994-2003) and Coordinator of the South-South Program of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) (2003-2007).

She has published 4 individual books, 12 in co-authorship or as compiler, 50 book chapters and more than 100 articles in specialized magazines in Argentina and abroad.
