Ghazal Rezvaní

She was born in Tehran, Iran. In 2002 she began her learning of wood art. She began studying Moaragh Karí (mosaic with wood) and in 2004 she continued with Monabbat Karí (the art of carving wood). She then studied Business Management at Jansar University for 4 years. Since 2010 she has studied traditional drawings and miniature and after a short time began to work and experiment independently. In 2011 she emigrated to Mexico and continued her artistic path as a teacher of traditional drawings and Miniature. She has done several exhibitions of Persian miniature in Mexico, among them, Jorge Cuesta bookstore (2014), Instituto de Investigaciones philológicas UNAM (2015) and Museo Nacional de Las Culturas (2015 and 2016). She has also offered various courses, workshops and lectures on traditional Persian drawing, Iranian Cinema, Iranian cuisine, and wood art. Among them in the Institute of Philological Research UNAM (2013, 2014, 2015), National Museum of Cultures (2014, 2015 and 2016), Cultural Caravan for Peace in Guerrero (2015), Cultural Center of Iran in Mexico and Jorge Cuesta bookstore. She currently resides in Mexico City and is one of the administrators of the Iran Cultural Center in Mexico.
