He is a PhD student and professor of Metaphysics at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UNAM. His lines of research are hermeneutic phenomenology, the Kyoto school and Japanese philosophy. In 2016 he completed a research stay at the Nanzan Institute of Religion and Culture in Nagoya. He is part of the International Chair of Critical Hermeneutics and the project "Crisis of inhabiting and the original inhabiting in relation to the earth" He has published articles such as "History of the present, history of the instant", "Essays of the end of the world" and "From the invisible front, Heidegger and the experience of National Socialism in Black Notebooks". He has a monthly column in El rincón del haiku entitled "El asunto del pino".
