She holds a Master's Degree in International Relations Studies from the Graduate Program in Political and Social Sciences at UNAM. She is a PhD candidate in Political and Social Sciences with orientation in International Relations at UNAM. As part of her doctoral studies, she conducted a research stay at Thammasat University (Bangkok, Thailand) on the internationalization processes of Thai multinationals. She has been a professor in the area of regional studies at the FCPyS of UNAM since 2007. Her research interests are: public policies in Asia-Pacific, integration schemes and development cooperation in Asia and the Pacific, corporate development, business strategies and business networks in Southeast Asia, as well as political economy for development and multinational companies in Thailand.
