Cecilia Costero

She holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences with orientation in International Relations from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, National Autonomous University of Mexico. Postgraduate studies in International Relations and Political Sociology at the Instituto Superior de Relaciones Internacionales and the Centro de Estudios sobre África y Medio Oriente and the University of Havana, Cuba. Master in Sub-Saharan Africa Studies 2 at the Center for Asia and Africa Studies, (CEAA), El Colegio de Mexico; thesis work: The pragmatic alternative of independent Angola. She is a research professor in the Political and International Studies Program at El Colegio de San Luis, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Among her recent publications are mainly on international and local issues; NAFTA and its regional impact: 20 years on, studies on "Malian" students in San Luis Potosi, among others.
