Anthropologist and historian of religions specialized in East Asia, Korea. PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Málaga/Universidad Autónoma de Madrid with doctoral thesis on Korean mythologies of female figures and religious practices of Korean women. Master's degree in History of Religions from Sogang University (Seoul). Professor of East Asian Studies-Korea Mention at the University of Malaga. Translator of works on Korean culture and art. Research: the study of East Asian culture and religions, in particular Korea, the religious experience and practices of Korean women, shamanism, Buddhism, intercultural and interreligious dialogue.
