Angelica Garcia holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a master’s degree in Chinese Studies from the Yenching Academy of the University of Beijing. During her stay in China, she served as an assistant professor of the Archeology courses of the Silk Road and Foreign Policy of China; she also participated as a speaker in the Youth Forum for the development of the Strip and the Road, after having made a researching trip of 9,000 km through China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. She is currently collaborating with the newspaper Contra Replica as a columnist on non-traditional security issues from the perspective of China.
